Oh this one looks great. I really love hear eyes! The shading and lights, also the anatomy is well done! 
Really intresting drawing style. The soft shading fits very good to it. Referring the backgrond and grass, I think it doesn't fit to the style you draw princess mononoke. I guess you were drawing the grass with a special brush? Maybe you can try to draw the grass in the same style as you draw the character so it fits better and the picture looks better all in all (: Of course it is connected with more effort and time you have to spend into the picture but trust me, it is worth it
Furthermore, don't be scared to add heavier shadows into the picture an dalso on the grass so you get a more 3D effect (: As for the starsky, try to make the clouds not too blurry and the stars shoudln't be so thick and uniform. make them smaller and with a more random distance to each other. Make them bigger, smaller, lighter, almost transparent etc. Also pay attention to the color gradient. it is much softer in reality. take some references like this here: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia… and cdn.wallpapersafari.com/75/10/… (i hope this helps to understand what I mean.. i am so bad at explaining xD)
all in all i really like the character you draw here. You got the anatomy right!!
